[2011 to 2013] Strategic advisor to Minister of  Defence and Military Veterans on matters pertaining to, inter alia, litigation and military justice.

[2006 – 2008] Programme and Project Manager of the Kopanong Precinct Project – an upgrade programme for the Gauteng Provincial Government buildings in the Joburg CBD.

Executive Mayor

Executive and political head of city government.  Guided by powers and fuctions as stipulated in the Municipal Structures Act, Municipal Systems Act and the Municipal Finance Management Act. Served on the SALGA executive and chaired the legal and governance portfolio.
