Stoney attended school at Sentraal High in Bloemfontein.
He was a member of the SA Police Service from 1975 to 2000 after which he joined the corporate world and was involved for a few years in a security company.
Thereafter he became a Safety and Security Manager for a Telecomms company specialising in Environmental Health and Safety and Event Safety.
He has completed the following courses:
1. Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Principles in the workplace
2. HIRA and Rootcause analisys
3. Skills development Program in Disaster Management
4. Skills development Program in Event Safety Management
Currently Stoney is an Environmental Health and Safety Consultant as well as an Event Safety Consultant.
Richard was born in Malta, raised in the United Kingdom and has been married to his wife Jenny for 46 Years.
Richard trained as a radiographer in Plymouth England from 1970 to 1972 and then worked for 10 years as a radiographer at Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham.
In 1982 Richard and his family emmigrated to South Africa to take up employment at Johannesburg Hospital where he was head of the trauma x-ray department for 8 years.
During this period Richard was a member of the Johannesburg Hospital Major Disaster Committee.
He also served for 3 years as the Johannesburg representative on the National Commitee of the Society of Radiographers of South Africa.
In 1994 Richard moved to the private sector and took employment at Philips Medical Systems where he became an X-ray Application Specialist specialising in the usage and setup of cardiac and vascular interventional systems, travelling for 18 years throughout Africa and the Middle East to train staff on the systems.
Over the last 15 years Richard has also taught himself database design and web design and when he retired in 2012 he and Jenny moved to Magaliesberg where he set up his web design business Appsman Web Design.
My name is Peter Itumeleng Selebogi, I was born 1970 July 22. I am the second born in the family of two boys and one girl (Pinky). I attended school at Magaliesburg state school and matriculated at Rustenburg.

In 2001 I bought myself a minibus taxi and joined the Taxi Association as an owner.
I served on the association as general secretary for 2 terms (10 yrs) and 1 term as Grievance Officer.
I have since bought another minibus taxi and I am working mainly with groups like churches, burial societies, schools and social clubs, my understanding and my respect for others helps me increase my customers every time.

Nigel has an intense interest in history and a desire to see Magaliesburg prosper. He has managed to combine these two to make a difference, albeit a very tiny difference.
He, together with the help of others, has managed to resurrect the Magaliesburg Historical Society. Nigel also represents Magaliesburg’s interests on the West Rand Development Agency’s (“WRDA”)’ project to bring international and local tourists to the greater Magaliesberg area.
The South African War (more commonly known as the Boer War) has been chosen as the first vehicle to achieve this. The project is now at the stage where the Business Plan has been completed, project launched officially, and government and other sources are being approached for funding. Once finding is obtained, the project will be brought to the MBF actioning of the component affecting Magaliesburg.
Nigel studied geology at UPE, but never practiced geology and went into computing instead, spending 10 years with IBM, before going out contracting, and then joining the banks and spending over 14 years with ABSA. The changing dynamics of the South Africa workplace led Nigel to become an Independent Contractor again doing project management for the large financial intuitions, specialising in IT, Banking and Regulatory projects. He also has a master’s degree from Wits University.
Currently Nigel is semi-retired and has a small farm in Koesterfontein and is busy turning it from a lifestyle farm to a working farm.
My Name is Leonie van Greunen. I am a widow and have been a resident of Broederstroom for the past 23 years.
My Son & Daughter and their families stay in close proximity of me and I am the proud granny of 2 of the cutest and most intelligent boys.
I was the secretary for the management of a company from 1981-1985 when my son was born aftger which, for the next 17 years, I was a mum and home executive until 2002. At this time I took over a small ice-cream & sweet shop in Brits. Tt was just a time pass whilst my children were busy with extra mural activities in Brits and within a year I bought another ice-cream shop and became part of the Brits business industry and I also joined the chamber of business committee.
in 2004 we were offered an opportunity to open a fuel station and just by managing the fuel station correctly, we were able to double our fuel liters per month.
In 2008 TOTAL decided to do a knock down rebuild, which meant that the station would be totally flattened and a new TOTAL would be built with a Steers and a Car-wash. This meant that I had to buy the Steers in town to allow the Steers to open at the station.
From this point my businesses branched out to fast food industry. The Steers was revamped and got a Fishaways and then shortly after a Debonairs and again a Steers.
In 2015 I decided to scale down and sold all the Fast food businesses yet after 15 years I am still very involved in the day-to-day operations of the fuel station.
Jenni grew up in the Maanhaarrand area where her parents were weekend farmers from 1966 until they sold in 1998. Jennie retained 5 hectares of the farm and built what is now Eagles Nest.
Wanting to create an alternative life to corporate, Jenni and her husband Dave bought a much larger farm in 2005 and they moved permanently to the Magalies area in 2014, with Jenni running the farm and Phefumula Country Retreat, a small luxury guest lodge.
Jenni has a long history in the restaurant business. From 1994 Jenni and her family owned Giles restaurant in Parktown North, which they sold in 2018.
Prior to this Jenni was the Group Head of HIV and Aids for SABMiller plc until December 2013. She was responsible for developing and guiding global policy and strategy. Jenni worked in countries such as India, Russia, several countries in Central and South America and 20 countries in Africa. She has worked as a counselor on HIV, alcohol and pos- traumatic stress, for many years. She served as a Governor on the Board of the South African Business Coalition on Health and Aids for 7 years and was a judge for the Global Business Coalition’s on HIV and Aids Annual Excellence Awards.
Jenni is currently chairperson of Route 24, an organization representing 25 small and medium hospitality venues, and aimed at promoting tourism in the area. She also holds the tourism portfolio for the Magaliesburg Landowners Forum. Jenni was on the Board of Women for Peace, which subsequently became Child Welfare Magalies, until 2017.
Davina is currently the Operations Director at Youth For Christ Training Centre, Human Resources and Facilities/Maintenance Manager.
She is a mother of 3 and has always been involved both full time & part in the development and empowering of young people helping them exceed and understand their purpose.
Davina says, “My strength simply put is change. It’s the constant in my life. Things and people must change and this affects the community/world around us”.
Anita has a BA.HOD and was a teacher for 15 years. She started her career in teaching at our very own Bekker High School. In 1999 she traded the black board for the exciting proposition of running her own boutiques. In 2006 she had enough of the fashion industry and decided to sell properties. She started in Krugersdorp and eventually founded her own brand, Farmfinders. During 2013 her husband, Kobus and herself decided to buy the RE/MAX franchise in Randfontein. They have since expanded and now have 4 branches, doing sales, rentals, valuations, sectional title management and commercial properties. Her estate agent qualifications include CEA, NQF 4, PDE, and the Privy Seal.
Anita has lived in Magaliesburg for the past 27 years, and is involved with the local primary school, the church as well as the MBF. On a personal note, she has 2 grown sons, and 5 beautiful Bull Terriers. She loves gardening and making a difference in the lives of those around her.
